Queens Puzzle

Each row, column, and colored region must contain exactly one queen.

Queens cannot occupy any of the 8 cells around another queen. Longer diagonals are allowed!

Tap a cell to cycle: empty → queen → X → empty. An X means “no queen here”; remove it with a tap before placing a queen.

Use Mark X mode to toggle markers without changing queens. Right-click also toggles an X.

Red outlines flag conflicting queens. Check tells you whether your queens and X marks still allow a solution, without revealing it.

Hard regions can have separate islands. Matching colors and small letters always belong to the same region.
